My Daily Room

2016, digital prints on wooden construction, video (found footage)

How do we spend our time? How much of it is private, how much of it is public and can we distinguish the two at all any longer?
My Daily Room is an installation that presents a private room in public space. But the room is not a real room. It is just a stage, a part of the public spectacles we are used to see daily. There are no people on this stage, just an unpleasant video which we might recognize if we haven’t forgotten it already. The stage is a space open to possibilities and to the viewer’s own desires and fears. It is a space for our daily performances.
